Now that we’re ending September and entering October, class is really getting busy. Especially with the choosing of our semester-long story idea. I was really stumped when it came to choosing an idea. I genuinely had no idea what I wanted to do. The idea came to me when I was talking with my niece about Disneyland. I suddenly thought why don’t I do something on one of my favorite subjects, Disney.

After doing my story pitch presentation, the professor made me really think about some things that I didn’t before. The biggest one was permission when it comes to filming at the Disneyland parks. I feel as though filming a video or taking photographs is crucial to my story, so I have to find out how to do that.

10/30/23 Blog Post

We’ve got a couple weeks left of class and we’ve just turned in our first draft of our story. I’m not going to lie, the deadline sneaked up on me. I think the content that I curated for it was a good start, but I definitely need to do more. I need to do my infographic and perhaps fix the formatting of the story.

Besides the story, since we only have a couple of weeks left all my other deadlines are approaching as well. It’s a bit overwhelming having all these stories due at the same time, but I’m positive that I can finish them all and have them be really good. Overall, these next couple of weeks are going to be busy but I have got to finish the semester off strong.
